It is almost 6 months since we started the Coigach book club; we have discussed the titles listed below. This list also includes titles for the next few months.

We have 11 members so far, with between 4 & 8 people attending the meetings we have held so far. New members are welcome.

The format is very informal; the only rule is it is the responsibility of the member choosing the book for that month to provide milk and biscuits for the meeting. We secretly give a score out of 10 to the book of the month just before discussing it. At the end of the year the person whose book choice had the highest score will receive a book token.

 The plans for the December meeting include for us to agree our favourite festive or winter book for discussion and to recipient exchange our Secret Santa gifts. The draw of the recipients for the Secret Santas’ will be made in November, so a purchase from a charity shop can be given the recipient in December.
